island of bali

Bali is the heart of our operations as one of the most extraordinarily beautiful places on Earth, yet facing a huge recycling infrastructure challenge. Knowing that Indonesia is the second biggest pollutant in the world and seeing first-hand the impact of this statistic washing on the shores of Bali, it was natural for us to launch our primary efforts there.

Bali has been an incredibly welcoming place, as both locals and expats understand the need to make a change to how we treat our environment. We started our operations in 4 venues, which acted as pioneers of the reusable movement. We are now operating in 18 venues in Canggu, Berawa and Seminyak. Given our current volumes, we have prevented 1000 plastic cups from entering into the ocean in just the last 2 months.
